How Agrim, 15 years, is building a kickass lead gen machine

Lead Generation
India
15 Years
My name is Agrim Chaurasia. I’m 15 years old and based in India. I’m building a business called Codeferno, which I launched in 2024.
Codeferno is an appointment-setting agency and we also sell our custom-made scrapers which enables businesses to get more targeted contacts easily. Codeferno’s main mission is to help businesses get more leads and grow their revenue. We have already helped our clients generate $200,000 in revenue.
"I started with freelancing at 13, now I have helped clients make over $200,000."
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started freelancing when I was 13, and donated some of the money received from freelancing and re-invested the rest to open my first business, which was an outsourcing business. I gained a lot of experience in the outsourcing business but closed it down when I was 14 because it wasn’t generating much revenue. I opened my second business which also failed, and finally I opened Codeferno after finding out that a lot of people are struggling to get more leads and appointments.
How did you turn your idea into a business?
I turned my idea into a business by first trying out the idea myself to check if it is market-ready or not, and later hiring a team of intellectual people to scale the business further. Networking on various platforms with intellectuals, mentors etc. helped a lot in turning my idea into a full-fledged business.
How did you get your customers?
We find clients through social media, cold emailing, and cold calling. Our team of 20 uses various strategies, such as indirect promotion, to acquire clients on social media. We have a custom-made software for sending cold emails. Additionally, a separate team of 3 people frequently make cold calls for the business. Our primary source of new clients is referrals from past clients.
How are you funding your startup?
Our business is fully bootstrapped.
What is your average monthly revenue?
We have touched the $1k per month mark.

How are you doing today and what plans for the future?
Currently, our outreach strategy is working great. The only problem we’re facing is related to payment systems. The best decision we made was not to split any equity or enter into partnerships, as these could negatively affect the business.
Our plan for the future is to upgrade our current software with more features and transition it into a SaaS. We have already started working on it and expect to launch it soon.
What advice would you give to budding founders?
I would advise founders to try as many types of businesses as possible because sticking to a stagnant niche won’t work.
I would also suggest that founders keep their expectations high and reject prospects who don’t value their work.
Where can we find you?
